In the UK, Team-Teach training is accredited by the British Institute of Learning Disabilities and is affiliated to and moderated by The General Services Association.

In Australia, Team-Teach is currently exploring accreditation through AQTF and hopes to gain this shortly and has also been in discussion with State Government Departments about setting up an Australian accrediting system for companies training in physical interventions.

All courses are accredited by BILD with potential new tutors having to pass both a theoretical test and a number of practical assessments.

Tutors also receive a visual record and a manual containing key teaching points of all preferred techniques within the core curriculum.

Tutors are required to produce a summary evaluation report that addresses critical questions concerning issues around safety and the holistic, whole setting approach to behaviour management. This summary evaluation report is returned to the Director of Team-Teach for monitoring and quality control.

Intermediate Tutors are required to update once in 12 months and then every 24 months whilst Advanced tutors are required to update annually and all tutors are only permitted to train within the boundaries of their licence.

In the UK, The Team-Teach Approach is the only Physical intervention training company to achieve a National Training Award presented by the U.K Skills Council. Team-Teach is the training strategy of choice for the majority of  local authorities and is supported by a number of Teacher Associations. National Government Departments are fully aware of the approach and the Health and Safety Executive have commented favourably on its impact when adopted as a whole setting holistic approach.

In Australia, it is the preferred approach for an increasing number of Special School, Special Education Units and also Catholic Dioceses. It has also been successfully implemented in a New Zealand Special School. The flexibility of training in meeting the needs of particular settings has also been well received with feedback from courses showing 93-99% ratings of Very Good or Excellent in all key feedback areas.
